+ HOLE ONE

The first hole on Aspen is a shorter par 4 dogleg left. There is a lone tree on the left side of the fairway. Aim your tee shot just right of that tree. There is a bunker on the right hand side of the boomerang shaped green. The green slopes from back to front.

There is more room on the right than it looks from the tee. There is a hazard along the entire left side of the fairway. You will be left with a long iron to a narrow elevated green.

+ HOLE THREE

The first par 5 on Aspen is a good birdie opportunity. The hole is a slight dogleg left. Longer hitters can aim over the fairway bunker on their tee shot to set up a good opportunity to hit this green in two. The green is slightly elevated and tree trouble surrounding the green so you must be precise with the approach.

+ HOLE FOUR

Hole 4 is a beautiful downhill par 3 with bunkers surrounding this large two tiered green. Hit the right tier and have a good chance at making birdie, but if you don’t you could be looking at a 3 putt.

+ HOLE FIVE

This is a picturesque par 4 dogleg right from an elevated tee. Aim just right of the fairway bunker on the left side of the fairway with a hybrid or fairway wood and try to hit a cut as driver will go too far into the trees. There is a hazard 80 yards from the green and a bunker on the left side. Good chance at a birdie.

+ HOLE SEVEN

This is a short par 4 from an elevated tee. Hybrid or fairway wood off the tee is all you need to set up a short approach. Pitch it close and have a good chance at birdie but be careful of the green that slopes severely from left to right.

+ HOLE EIGHT

The second par 5 is a dogleg left. A good drive down the right center of the fairway will set up an opportunity to go for this green in two. Be careful of the hazard short right of the green surrounded by trees. There is also a bunker short right of the green that catches a lot of errant approach shots.

The finishing hole on Aspen is a narrow par 4. If you are lucky enough to keep your tee shot between the trees you will be left with a mid to short iron up the hill to an elevated green that slopes from left to right. You will often see deer or elk hanging out by the cottages watching you finish your round.
