At the current time, fractional ownership is not yet available. Elk Ridge resort is working diligently to change fractional ownership mortgages laws in Saskatchewan. Once fractional ownership becomes available, Elk Ridge Resort will be releasing a new and exciting real estate opportunity.

What is fractional ownership?

Fractional ownership is a group of friends, relatives or investors who pool their resources to buy a second home. Interest in fractional ownership has increased as buyers have begun to look for more affordable ways to acquire a vacation home.

How does it work?

Ownership in a fractional structure is divided among group members, giving each owner an equal share in the property.

How is it different from Timeshares?

Aside from having title to your property, fewer owners are involved in fractional ownership, keeping administrative and maintenance expenses low. Fractional ownership is appealing to those wanting the benefit of owning a luxurious vacation property, but without having to incur all of the costs.
