Guest Services Manager
Job Type: Full-Time
Elk Ridge Resort is seeking an experienced and guest-focused Guest Services Manager (Front Desk) to oversee all front desk operations and lead the team responsible for first and last impressions. This full-time management role is ideal for a hands-on leader who is passionate about service excellence, team development, and operational consistency.
Key Responsibilities
Provide leadership and direction to the Front Desk / Guest Services team
Set and maintain high standards for guest service and professionalism
Oversee daily front desk operations, including reservations, check-ins, and check-outs
Act as the primary escalation point for guest concerns, ensuring timely and effective resolution
Create and manage staff schedules, training, and performance expectations
Collaborate closely with housekeeping, maintenance, food & beverage, and resort leadership
Monitor front desk procedures, cash handling, and system accuracy
Support operational reporting, occupancy planning, and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
Proven experience in hotel or resort front desk operations
Previous supervisory or management experience strongly preferred
Strong leadership presence with a guest-first mindset
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Ability to balance hands-on front desk work with management responsibilities
Experience with hotel property management systems (PMS) is an asset
Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
