The Cottages
The cottages at Elk Ridge sit in the boreal forest just off the golf course, a short drive from the Waskesiu townsite and Prince Albert National Park. Each one is freestanding, with an open-concept main floor, a fully equipped kitchen, a gas fireplace, and in-suite laundry. They are a step up in space and finish from the cabins, and they suit families, couples travelling together, and groups who want room to spread out. Below you will find the three cottage types we offer, along with what makes each one different. The Evergreen
Sleeps up to six | 864 square feet, vaulted bungalow, two bedrooms, Two bathrooms.
Cottage Details
The Evergreen is our most compact cottage and the only single-level option. An open-concept vaulted bungalow at 864 square feet, with one king bedroom, one twin bedroom, and a bathroom for each. The queen sofa bed in the living room rounds out a sleep capacity of six. Good for couples travelling together, small families, or guests who want a cottage without stairs.

The Willow
Sleeps up to six | 1,147 square feet, two-storey loft with a private master upstairs.
Cottage Details
The Willow is a two-storey loft cottage with the master bedroom set apart upstairs. The loft master has a king bed, an en suite bathroom, and a large walk-in closet. The main level is open-concept with a second bedroom with two twins, a full bathroom, and the living and kitchen space. The queen sofa bed in the living room brings sleep capacity to six. A good fit for families who need a little more privacy.

The Poplar
Sleeps up to ten | 1,320 square feet, three bedrooms, three bathrooms, loft master suite.
Cottage Details
The Poplar is our largest cottage and the most accommodating for big family gatherings or two couples travelling with kids. Find three bedrooms, three bathrooms, and 1,320 square feet across two levels. The loft master is a suite in itself. Two main-floor bedrooms (one king, two queens) each have their own bathroom, which makes a full house feel less crowded in the morning. The queen sofa bed in the living room brings sleep capacity to ten.

As a cottage guest, you have full access to the resort.
The saltwater pool, hot tub, and gym are included in your stay, as well as an assortment of seasonal activities to explore.
Our 27-hole golf course, driving range, and putting green are available for additional fees, as are activities run by our partners: Treeosix Adventure Parks, Lake Country Rentals, and Drift Spa & Wellness.

The cottages are generally larger, more open-concept, and include in-suite laundry and separate shower-and-tub bathrooms. The cabins are more traditional in layout and a bit more compact. Both are freestanding and sit in the boreal forest. If you want laundry on-site and more bathroom space, the cottages are usually the better fit.

Some cottages are pet-friendly and some are not. If you are travelling with a pet, please call the resort at 1-306-663-4653 before booking so we can confirm a pet-friendly cottage is available for your dates. A nightly pet fee applies. Pets staying in a cottage that is not designated pet-friendly will result in a $250 deep cleaning fee.
