The resort provided the ideal backdrop for our multi-generational (4 generations - ranging in ages from 12 months to 85+) gathering of around 100 family members from Arizona, British Columbia, Alberta, Manitoba, Saskatchewan and the Yukon as we reconnected over 4 days.

The resort offered a variety of lodging options that suited our diverse needs including wheelchair accessibility. From spacious cottages of all sizes, with fully stocked kitchens, to modern cabins and hotel rooms right in the lodge. Something for everyone! The common areas and banquet room space was perfect for our large family activities with beautifully catered suppers and a place to duck inside out of the heat, hail, and bugs! 

Beyond the amazing golf experiences our family enjoyed a range of activities for all ages. The kids loved the pool, waterslide, and playground, while the adults appreciated the spa services, hot tub, and fitness center. People could eat their breakfast and lunches in their cabins or cottages or in one of three on-site restaurants never needing to leave the resort.  The closeness to the Wasksieu townsite also provided many other opportunities water sports, swimming at the beach and a baseball diamond for our family ball game.

The services provided by Elk Ridge were exceptional. Banquet staff were attentive, accommodating, and went out of their way to make sure our reunion ran smoothly. They helped with special requests and made us feel welcome throughout our stay.
