Tamarack is the original nine at Elk Ridge, routed through the boreal forest with a natural, flowing layout that gives it a character all its own. It is the most approachable of our three nines, though it never gives up its strategic interest, rewarding accuracy and smart course management as much as length. That balance is what makes it a satisfying test for a low handicap and an engaging round for golfers still building their game.

As a nine-hole course, Tamarack takes roughly two hours to play. You can also pair it with Birch or Aspen for a full day.
