Winter changes the pace at Elk Ridge. The fairways go quiet under the snow, the spruce hold the cold light, and the Lodge becomes the warm centre of everything. It’s the season when a team finally has room to slow down and talk, and when a year’s worth of work gets the celebration it deserves. Just fifty minutes from Prince Albert, the resort is close enough for a day of meetings and far enough away to feel like you’ve truly stepped out of the office.
Our meeting spaces adapt to the day you have planned, from a focused boardroom session to a full-day workshop, with audio-visual support and catering to keep things running smoothly.
For the whole company, the Wapiti Ballroom welcomes up to 200 people across 3,000 square feet. The Whitetail, our smaller ballroom, holds up to 40, which makes it the right size for a leadership retreat or a department planning day. And when the conversation calls for something more intimate, the Wine Room at Fredrich seats up to 24 for a board dinner or a small team that does its best thinking over a good meal.
All three are indoors and open all season, so the snow outside only adds to the view.
The best ideas tend to show up away from the table. Once the snow settles in, the forest becomes your breakout room: snowshoe the quiet trails, glide through the spruce on cross-country skis, or lace up for a game on the skating pond. Tobogganing and curling are easy wins for a team that likes a little friendly competition.
For a slower afternoon, book the Private Cedar Sauna or a treatment at Drift Spa & Wellness. The saltwater pool and hot tub are included in your stay, waiting at the end of a long day.

When the last session wraps, Fredrich Inspired Kitchen + Cocktails is right there in the Lodge. Settle in with the cocktail menu while the light turns blue over the snow, and let dinner stretch as long as the conversation does.
