Just minutes from Prince Albert National Park sit twenty-seven holes of championship golf on a spruce-lined fairway. The air smells like warm grass and fresh pines, and it’s easier than ever to get immersed in the game and watch the forest come to life as you move through the course.
This is what you can expect your round at Elk Ridge to look like.

Every summer, we keep our tried-and-true golf packages running. Each one is built around a different getaway, so read through to find the fit for your game. Each one includes some time on the course and accommodations to keep you rested after coming all this way. We might add last-minute golf packages here, too, so it’s always worth checking. Beyond the golf packages, a couple of standing deals are worth knowing about. The Two-for-One green fee special runs Mondays and Tuesdays. Children ten and under always play free with a paying adult, which makes a family round an easy call any day of the week. If you'd rather play as the day winds down, the twilight rate offers a reduced green fee in the evenings, with a cart included. Special details may change through the season, so check in with the Pro Shop before you book.

The Course
Birch.
Wide, welcoming, and lined with white birch and aspen, Birch is a good starting point if it’s been a while since your last round, or a relaxed nine if you are introducing a friend to the course for the first time.
Aspen.
With rolling terrain through dense forest, elevation changes that keep every shot interesting, and the most difficult hole on the course, it’s a favourite for golfers who like a round that asks them to think.
Tamarack.
The most scenic of the three, winding past wetlands and water features with tamarack stands framing the greens. Bring your camera, and bring an extra ball or two.
You can play any two nines for a full 18, or walk on for a quick nine. The team in the Pro Shop is always happy to help you build the round you want.
The Pro Shop
Speaking of the Pro Shop, here is where you can find the essentials, not just for your round, but for the season ahead and beyond.
Sitting proudly in the clubhouse just off the first tee, the shelves are stocked with everything you might need for a round: gloves, tees, a fresh sleeve of Titleists, or a hat when you've forgotten your lucky one at home.
Our Head Golf Professional hand-picks the apparel and gear, so you can count on a curated recommendation from someone who plays here every day. We carry Callaway, Titleist, and a rotating mix of names lining the shelves, with custom embroidery available if you'd like to add a logo or make something your own.
It's also the place to think about a gift. Whether you're picking something up for yourself or for the golfer in your life, the Pro Shop tends to be where a lot of resort stays end and a lot of holiday shopping quietly begins.

Before Your Round
Fredrich Café
If you're staying at the resort, the morning has a natural rhythm to it. Breakfast at Fredrich Café in the Lodge tends to stretch a little longer than you planned, because there's something about coffee by the window and the low hum of other guests making plans for the day that makes it hard to rush.
Caddy Snack
For golfers heading straight to the course, Caddy Snack in the Pavilion is the smarter stop. It opens early, and there's usually a breakfast sandwich and a coffee waiting whether or not you remembered to pack one. Heading out later? Stop by in the afternoon for a quick grab-and-go lunch.
After Your Round
The Wyld
The Wyld is our pub-style restaurant in the Clubhouse, and it's built for the hour after the round where a cold drink lands on the table, sun cuts through the windows at the perfect angle, and the place is abuzz with each table trading their own version of what happened on the seventeenth. Ask about the weekly specials, and let the round debriefs begin.
Fredrich Inspired Kitchen + Cocktails
For something quieter in the evening, walk over to Fredrich Inspired Kitchen + Cocktails. The patio looks out over the forest, and there's a fire pit to settle in beside as the sun drops behind the spruce, so it's worth taking your time with the cocktail menu while the light changes. Every meal has a way of stretching into a longer conversation than you planned, and by the time the plates are cleared, the stars are usually out, and the forest has gone quiet around you.

Make it a group event
A round at Elk Ridge scales up well. Whether you're planning a corporate outing, a charity fundraiser, or the friendly competition that turns into an annual tradition, the Events Team works with you to shape the day and handle the details. You bring the group. They make it memorable.
If you're bringing a smaller crew, the Links & Lunch Executive Experience might be perfect for you.
It's built for groups of eight to twelve, pairing a morning of focused meeting time in the Discovery Centre with a Mulligan On the Go lunch and an afternoon round with a shared power cart. Overnight accommodation is included, leaving the evening free for after-hours drinks or adventure. Rates start at $268 per person plus taxes and fees, and it runs May through October.
For something larger, the 18-hole Shotgun Buyout accommodates up to 144 golfers. The team takes care of personalized scorecards, cart signs, proximity markers, and post-event scoring.
