Reservation Policy

It is the guest's responsibility to know and understand our reservation, deposit, and cancellation policies. Please review them carefully.

Minimum Stay Requirement: Bookings for Fridays and Saturdays require a minimum stay of two nights. Stays from Sundays through Thursdays can book stays of one night or more.

Deposit Policy: Upon booking, a deposit of 25% of your accommodation total is required. The balance owing will be charged 15 days prior to check-in. Please be advised that the credit card on file will be charged for the balance owing unless otherwise instructed.

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations received two weeks or more in advance of the reserved check-in date are subject to 25% of the accommodation total as a cancellation fee. Cancellations received within 14 days are subject to 100% of the accommodation total as a cancellation fee.

Check-in time is 4:00 PM & Check-out time is 11:00 AM.

In consideration of the comfort of all of our guests, we do not allow smoking in any of our accommodation units.

Fairway Townhouses, cottages, cabins and townhouses do not receive daily housekeeping service.

Benefits & Services provided by your Resort Fee

Many of the most sought-after amenities and activities at Elk Ridge Resort are now bundled into a daily resort fee. This helps eliminate multiple charges and provides a discount on services. There are many great activities included in your $14.95 daily resort fee, all designed to provide you with an unforgettable stay. These amenities include:

Year-Round

  • Hi-speed wireless internet access resort-wide

  • In-room tea and coffee service

  • Groomed trails and select seasonal on-property activities

  • Use of select activity equipment – limited quantities

  • Access to Fitness Center

  • Library and Board Games

  • Use of indoor pool and hot tub

Summer (mid-May to mid-October)

  • Bike rentals

  • Bocce ball

  • Cornhole (Bag toss game)

  • Guests of Elk Ridge on the Lake have exclusive access to free paddleboard bookings

Winter (late December to mid-March)

  • Cross country ski equipment (skis, poles & boots)

  • Cross-country ski trails

  • Snowshoes

  • Snowshoe trails

  • Outdoor skating rinks

  • Access to groomed skating rinks

  • Access to curling rink

  • Toboggan hill, tubes, warm-up hut and fire pits

Please note: All promotions and deals offered through Elk Ridge Resort are subject to availability and blackout dates.

Pet Policy

Elk Ridge Resort is happy to welcome well-behaved pets in select accommodations for a daily pet fee of $30. A limited amount of pet-friendly accommodations are available, so please contact the resort directly for availability.

Please be aware that pets are not allowed in the main lodge, any food and beverage areas, or the pool and fitness areas. Please also note that pets must be leashed while on resort property, and owners are asked to pick up after their pets. Heavy-shedding dogs must be kept in a kennel.

A $250 deep cleaning fee will be charged for not adhering to the pet policy.

Drone Policy

Out of safety concerns for guests, employees and our homeowner community, as well as concerns for individual privacy, Elk Ridge Resort prohibits the operation or use of unmanned aerial systems, or drones, by the general public - including recreational users and hobbyists - without the prior written authorization from Elk Ridge Resort management. This prohibition includes drones used for filming or videotaping, as well as any drone use by media or journalists operating above or within the Elk Ridge Resort area boundaries. This prohibition on drone operations or use extends to any drones launched or operated from within Elk Ridge proper, as well as drones launched from private property outside of Elk Ridge Resort area boundaries.

Any authorized operation of aerial drones may be governed by Transport Canada rules and regulations, local law enforcement as well as those policies separately established by Elk Ridge Resort, which may include certification, training, insurance coverage, indemnification requirements, and waivers or releases of liability.

Any violation of this policy may involve eviction from your accommodation(s), as well as confiscating of any drone equipment, and may subject violators to any damages, including, but not limited to, damages for violations of privacy and/or physical or personal injuries or property damage, as well as regulatory fines and legal fees.
